Sarah Jane and The Blue Notes
Sarah Jane steps from St Louis, with her lush sultry voice in the tradition of a “red hot mama”, along with the Blue Notes to bring you horn-infused swingin’ hot jazz and St Louis blues from the 1920s to the 40s.
The band specializes in forgotten songs from the era and sprinkles in a dash of some of everyone's favorite standards. Sarah Jane and The Blue Notes are one of the most festive dance bands in St. Louis.
It's a sound that seamlessly blends speakeasy, New Orleans Dixieland, Harlem night club, juke joint, and big band swing with a touch of old-time blues.
